Inclusive Classrooms

The conversation will provide a description of high incidence disabilities, characteristic and how the disability presents in an instructional setting. Attendees will collaborate in several activities to develop a deeper understanding of IEP implementation. At the conclusion of the conversational session attendees will work collaboratively to create an electronic catalog of resources that can be used in classrooms to assist with instructing students with learning differences.

Conversational Practice

This presentation will use a variety of conversational modalities. The presenter will use google slides, youtube, powtoons and wiki. Attendees will collaborate throughout the session to create an electronic catalog of resources that can be shared between the general education teacher and special education teacher. The catalog will assist with providing appropriate accommodations and modification to instruction to help students with learning differences reach their academic goals.
