Too often, Inquiry-Driven and Project-Based learning are left out of conversations about what benefits students of color. These pedagogies are often sacrificed in the name of either rote skill development or the dryness that passes for "rigor." We'll talk about it, and figure out how to ensure that students of color aren't locked out of progressive education.

Visual Narrative for Teachers 9:30am–12:30pm

  Join us in 605 to work with students and faculty of SLA’s CTE Digital Video program to learn how to design and manage video projects in your classes. This three-hour interactive workshop has a limit of 30 participants. Please sign up by clicking the link above.

  SLA-Center City will be open for visitors from 10am to 3pm. Visit classes, talk to students and teachers and meet up with EduCon friends old and new!
